The client seeks to appoint a technically knowledgeable downstream professional to join their team as a Communications Specialist for the Lubricants Division.
The candidate will manage all internal and external communications through strong partnerships with management, affiliate networks, key stakeholders, corporate communications and departments. You will drive an integrated approach that will allow for stakeholders’ input and buy-in, improved alignment with corporate stakeholders, resulting to stronger and more impactful messaging, deliverables and positive business outcomes. You will develop and support strategic communications planning, projects and develop and monitor Public Relations efforts, social media coverage and international media opportunities that support the Lubricants business. This role also encompasses integrated marketing support for core messaging and key projects.

You will hold a bachelor’s degree in the areas of international relations, journalism, English or Communications with at least 6 years of experience in communication or PR and excellent communications skills. Good command of business Arabic is desirable but not a requirement.
You will have a proven experience as a Communications Specialist, PR Manager or similar in the energy sector and good familiarity with terminology used in the industry such as petroleum technology and engineering. A thorough knowledge of the customs and traditions of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab world is necessary.
