The Company

The company is a leading and well respected Microfinance (MFI) institution operating across Cambodia. Led by an international management team, the organization has grown rapidly and consistently. There is now a need to hire a Chief Financial Officer to be part of their team

The Position

Based in Phnom Penh, the appointed individual will report to, and closely work with, the CEO. The CFO will drive overall performance of company to satisfy shareholder expectations. In addition, to overseeing the accounting, internal control, financial reporting, management reporting and month end closing, the successful candidate will be involved in the strategic growth of the business and which will include annual business planning, treasury management, loan pricing, commercial negotiations, cash management controls, IRR/ROI, Corporate Governance and the provision of strategic insights to the senior management team and Board of Directors.  As a senior leader, the appointed individual will be required to drive process improvements whilst also training, coaching and mentoring the Accounting and Finance team to raise functional capability to international standards.

The Person

To succeed in this role, interested candidates should hold an Accountancy/Finance Degree with at least 10+ years of relevant experience with 5 years in a similarly strategic role. Candidates must have prior experience in working in a Microfinance / Bank / Financial Institution.  The role requires candidates with strong experience in the end-to-end of financial stewardship including strong business management, negotiation and business analysis experience.
