The Company

The company is a SGX listed REIT with a strong portfolio of overseas assets. They are now seeking a Compliance Officer to be part of their growing team.

The Position

The Compliance Officer’s main role will be to assist the senior management in managing the and compliance related matters for their operations in Singapore and overseas. There will be a need to perform compliance reviews and report on compliance related matters to ensure their operations follow the laws and regulations. Naturally there will be a need to liaise / work closely with Internal Auditors, outsourced Compliance Consultants, and external legal counsel to ensure compliance with the relevant matters. As such the Compliance Officer will need to provide advise to the senior management on related laws and regulations and ensure there is proper maintenance and updates on the company’ compliance policy and procedures.

The Person

To succeed in this role, candidates should ideally have at least 3 years of working experience, ideally gained from a Singapore REIT, Financial Services or Audit background with a good knowledge of SGX Listing Rules. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, independent and the ability to partner with the business.
