The Company 

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a heavyweight international real estate investor, developer and fund manager that has built a sizeable regional portfolio of assets across the Public and Private Markets. Noted for end-to-end integrated investment and development of industrial assets, the firm is bolstered by exceptional relationships with international capital partners. In South Korea, a new team will be created to support an open-ended logistics fund with a target AUM$5bn+ to be achieved in the next few years. This requires the appointment of an experienced Fund Manager to oversee its strategic direction whilst continuing to build its investor base.

 

The Position

Reporting to an internationally-seasoned Managing Director whilst closely collaborating with a CIO for investment/divestment transactions, the appointed individual will lead a small fund management team whilst aiming to grow stable income-generating AUM. The role will focus toward the strategic direction of the Fund including business planning, fee agreements and similar, liaison with global investors with respect to portfolio and fund reporting, fund marketing and presentations to capture new investors for capital-raising and the appropriate evaluation and presentation to an IC for proposed internally-driven or Third-Party investments. This position will be supported by a couple of Analysts/Associates and who will manage portfolio analysis and day-to-day fund administration (new investor onboarding, dividend distributions and redemptions). The role will require frequent international travel to meet with existing and prospective global investors.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the long-term growth of a Fund whilst located in either Singapore or Seoul.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer an appropriate Degree complete with 10-12+ years’ cross-jurisdictional fund operations experience with focus toward Real Estate/Infrastructure. You will offer appropriate hands-on experience relating to investor relations/capital-raising, investment and asset management, acquisitions/divestments in Korea, fund-level financing and strategic business planning. Naturally, the appointed individual will offer strong quantitative skills and commercial acumen with exceptional attention to detail. Interested individuals must offer fluent bi-lingual proficiency in Korean and English. Whilst prior exposure to logistics assets is preferred, strong fund management credentials will provide greater weighting especially if supported by exposure to other real estate or infrastructure assets.
