The Company
The company is a progressive and fast-growing Cambodian Bank that has invested heavily in its people, new age technology and nationwide footprint and promises to deliver best in class digital experience for its clients. Although a relatively late comer into the sector, the bank has quickly and aggressively become a formidable market player with branches across Cambodia whilst concurrently gathering numerous industry and plaudits. As it prepares for its next chapter of growth, the bank is now seeking an experienced C-level executive to take up a strategic, Board Advisory appointment. 

The Position
Based in-country whilst providing 50-75% engagement (Board, project advisory, strategic advisory), the appointed individual will support the Board of Directors and Chairman whilst working closely with the Senior Management team to create, develop and implement forward-looking business plans whilst helping to shape the strategic vision of the bank whilst also offering advice for implementation. The Board Advisor will be responsible for formulating and developing successful operations and services to drive product and operational frameworks to enable its long-term growth objectives.

The Person
Interested candidates will possess a Degree with at least 25 years of working experience in the Banking Industry ideally having built their formative experience within a noted, first-tier banking environment (to rigorous international standards) and offering current/prior emerging market exposure too. Aside from a thorough appreciation for traditional corporate and retail banking, candidates should ideally possess a track record in driving Digital Banking with an ability to craft a road-map for success. There is a strong preference for candidates with experience of handling Chinese and South East Asia corporates and, as such, candidates should ideally offer bi-lingual Chinese & English communication skills.  To succeed in this role, the Board Advisor must be driven, energetic and have a passion to work in an emerging market.
