The Company

The organisation is a dynamic, vertically-integrated investor, developer and operator of real estate assets with a broad portfolio of listed/unlisted located in Singapore and internationally. The post-pandemic re-bound of various sectors has been a powerful catalyst for growth and a need to strengthen certain teams. This includes its Retail segment and a current requirement to appoint an experienced General Manager for a neighbourhood Mall.

The Position

The appointed individual will be responsible for Mall strategy and P&L whilst overseeing a centre management team. As such, the GM is expected to steer all day-to-day operations (marketing, leasing, property management) whilst inspiring respective teams to meet key service level standards. Naturally, the GM will monitor top- and bottom-line financial performance, including arrears, whilst collaborating with Group asset management to advise strategic adjustments and to implement appropriate property-level initiatives to drive ongoing improvement. Aside from collaboration with internal stakeholders, the appointed individual will build tenant relationships, identify strategic partners and maintain strong awareness of the competitive landscape.

The Person

Interested candidates will offer a Degree (Real Estate, Business or similar) and at least 10 years’ retail mall experience consisting of at least 5 years within a leadership/supervisory position, preferably with a solid background of budget management, leasing and operational management. Whilst a RES licence is preferred, prior experience managing a MCST asset is essential.
