It currently serves around 20+ million customers across the country whilst delivering the best data experience to the nation. In order to support the company’s continued growth, it now seeks the best minds in Myanmar.  This includes an immediate need in Yangon to appoint an experienced Head of Business Intelligence to join its team.

The Position

Reporting and working closely with the Chief Information Officer, the main purpose of the role is to ensure that the operations of the BI and EDW solutions are running smoothly. The Head of Business Intelligence will be responsible for managing the ETL Operations and ensure that the overall data being provided is accurate and provided in a timely manner. The appointed individual will be expected to lead the junior members in designing and supporting standard enterprise-wide business intelligence, EDW, DWH and related technology stack and architecture. This includes integration with databases, data warehouses and report writing for alignment of enterprise objectives, business needs and technology architecture.

The Person

Interested candidates should ideally offer a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in IT with at least 8 years of relevant experience in telecom industry preferably in EDW and BI domain. An understanding of Oracle Communication Logical Model and hands on experience working with Oracle DWH is essential. Familiarity with SQL and knowledge of shell scripting is a plus. The appointed individual may be local/repatriate Myanmar nationals or experienced Expatriates demonstrating strong English language proficiency.
