The Company

A fast-growing international company with Group headquarters based in SE Asia, the firm is also now established in the USA. Located in California, its US operations consist of an operational pharmaceutical contract manufacturing plant supporting a Principal and, a second fully-integrated facility dedicated to its core Nutraceuticals (vitamins/health), OTC medicines and supplements (gels/tablets) business complete with more than 300 FDA-approved SKUs – pills/tablets/capsules/creams. Aside from export to Asia, the company is now actively building its North America commercial team for expansion across the US & Canada whilst building a very strong foundation for future new product introduction. Positive growth of the North American market will further bolster plans for a future Public Listing and will be an essential component for its continuous long-term global growth.

 

To support these objectives, the company now wishes to appoint an experienced Business Development professional.

 

The Position

Reporting to the North America COO and SEA based CEO, the appointed individual will spearhead new product development projects and business development initiatives. You will select and appoint distributors in overseas markets with full agency model to ensure seamless market distribution while evaluating SKUs to export with well-defined business strategies. You will set distribution partner sales targets to ensure success whilst also developing project plans, strategies and product launching for each country 

Subsequently, you will lead negotiations of commercial terms such as contract, payment, shipping, logistics and other relevant trading provisions.

The Person

Interested candidates should offer a Master Degree in Business Administration with a Degree in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical science and at least 15 years of management experience, 5 years of which as a Country Manager in a Pharma industry. You will have proven experience in new product development and business expansion in several countries. You must be internationally mobile and can travel easily with few Visa restrictions.
