Real Estate Development
The company is a dynamic conglomerate consisting of Private Equity, Real Estate Development, Financial Services, Hospitality & Leisure and various additional business units. To support its significant real estate ambitions including an approved large-scale, master-planned township development, it is now seeking to bolster its Real Estate Investment team. This includes two appointments consisting of Director and Manager, Investment.
Reporting to the CEO, the appointed individuals will undertake a broad range of duties that will include market research, financial modelling and due diligence for each proposed development project whilst forecasting ROI, yield and value prior to the preparation of investment recommendation papers. Due to the large-scale nature of the development, consisting of residential, office, retail and hospitality assets, there will be a concurrent requirement to evaluate JV deals for potential co-development opportunities. The positions will be responsible for full life-cycle analysis, deal structuring and transactions management.
Interested candidates will offer good Degree and/or Masters’ accreditations in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics or similar. For the Director, 10+ years’ experience gained within a noted, international primary or master developer will be essential and 5+ years’ experience at the Manager level. Current or prior exposure to large-scale, multi-phased China development investment projects is strongly preferred complemented by native / fluent Mandarin and strong English language proficiency. Offering sound commercial acumen, the successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to evaluate and determine the underlying value of proposed investment/development projects underpinned by financial/cashflow modelling.
In return, the company will offer an annual salary/package in the region of USD$70-85k+/- (Investment Manager) and USD$100-130k+/- (Investment Director).
