The Company 

The organisation is the Real Estate Funds Management arm of a major real estate investor and developer. In APAC, led by an internationally experienced leadership team, the young and energetic team of the Fund platform has delivered a positive track record across a number of core and core-plus funds, whilst a strong balance sheet enables ongoing investment across a broad range of assets. Due to the creation of a new fund, there is now a new headcount to recruit a Senior Accountant to be part of their growing team.

The Position 

Reporting and working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for the effective controls of the book and records for various legal entities. This will include the review of the monthly/ quarterly management accounts prepared by property managers and outsourced service providers, review of fund consolidation reporting, preparation of quarter investor reporting, payments and other cash management matters. There is also the need to handle loan administration matters, as well as liasing with auditors, corporate secretary and tax agents.

The Person 

To succeed in this role, candidates should have at least 7 years of working experience and an Accountancy Degree or currently pursuing ACCA coupled with a sound knowledge of IFRS. Candidate with experience in the Real Estate, Property, Fund Management or REIT will have an added advantage. You should also have strong analytical skills, a positive attitude and be able to work under tight deadlines.
