The Company

The client is a fast-growing global payment solutions provider, dedicated to supporting cross-border payments and collections. With growing offices based throughout US, Europe, and Asia, they are now ready to expand into the Indonesia market. As such, they are seeking an experienced Country Sales Director to join their newly set up office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Position

Reporting to their Head of International Business based in their headquarters, the mandate of the Country Sales Director is to set up their Indonesia office where he/she will partner closely with the HQ to define the strategy, process, and success of the organisation. Naturally there will be a need to develop and manage the sales forecast, report and plan processes to ensure alignment with their global framework as well as ensure the growth of their revenues and customer adoptions. As the organisation is on a growth strategy, there will be a need to recruit, train and retain high quality staff to support the future growth of the team. The role also requires close partnership with their marketing, product and operation team in order to build an extraordinary customer program.

The Person

The ideal candidate should have a Degree with at least 7 years of proven success/ track record in building and managing a high performing sales team within a payments or e-Commerce business. The role requires candidates to have excellent interpersonal skills as there is a constant need to communicate with colleagues in international locations, coupled with strong negotiation, project management and problem-solving skills.
