The company wishes to appoint a business-minded, solutions-driven Factory Director.

 

The Position

Reporting to the CEO, the appointed individual will enjoy a broad, multi-faceted position within a complex environment and with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Specifically, the appointed individual will lead all critical manufacturing operations whilst meeting stringent KPIs focused toward achieving supply chain and product category strategies including service delivery, cost, productivity, quality, innovation and EHS components. As a result, the appointed individual will focus on delivering financial results whilst crafting appropriate medium- and long-term strategies to the category and supply chain management teams, driving Continuous Improvement programmes to improve performance whilst also proposing necessary supporting capital investments (to meet expansion targets and/or plant restructuring exercises). In addition, there will be a need to drive TPM/TQM whilst ensuring that agreed production targets and supply chain planning are aligned to demand forecasts. Last, but not least, there will be requirement to oversee manpower planning, employee relations and ongoing training and development to meet ongoing operations as well as ad hoc projects and initiatives.

The Person

Interested candidates will be Burmese nationals who offer an appropriate Degree whilst suitably exposed to manufacturing operations, supply chain planning/management, Continuous Improvement/Lean principles and supported by at least 10 years’ of experience. Exposure to the FMCG sector is strongly preferred.
