The Company

Our client is a diversified conglomerate expanding across Southeast Asia region, managing a portfolio of businesses across multiple industries. The group’s core activities are primarily centered around the energy and oil & gas sectors, including downstream energy operations, fuel trading, logistics, and distribution.

As the group continues to expand its energy portfolio, it is seeking a senior leader to oversee and grow its LPG business operations.

The Position

The General Manager – LPG will lead the overall strategy, operations, and commercial performance of the LPG business. The role will oversee importation, storage terminals, bottling plants, and distribution networks while ensuring operational safety, supply reliability, and market expansion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end LPG operations including sourcing, storage, filling, logistics, and distribution
• Manage terminal operations, bottling facilities, and supply chain efficiency
• Drive commercial growth across industrial, retail, and household LPG market
• Develop partnerships with distributors, dealers, and large industrial customers
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental guidelines
• Manage operational budgets, capital investments, and profitability targets
• Build and lead a high-performing operations and commercial team

The Person

The ideal candidate is an experienced energy or industrial sector leader with strong operational and commercial exposure within LPG, gas distribution, petrochemicals, or related downstream energy sectors. The individual should demonstrate the ability to manage complex supply chains, hazardous materials operations, and nationwide distribution networks while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to scale operations and market presence within emerging markets will be essential.
