The Company

The company is a market-leading vertically-integrated petrochemicals producer offering exceptional upstream and downstream capabilities complemented by a sophisticated supply network. To continuously support their mission in the global community, the company is now looking to appoint a seasoned Management Consultant to be part of their Strategy ad Organisational Design Division.

The Position

Operating as an in-house Management Consultant, the appointed individual will provide organisational design, strategy and general management consulting services for the company. This will include a need to align consulting solutions with the overall strategy, objectives, policies and plans of the business. There will be a need to craft and present specialist advice / proposals to the senior leadership team, as well as ensuing results. The Consultant will conduct research to build analytical frameworks and business analyses. This includes analysis of each specific business function, process, organisation structures, key capabilities and governance requirements with a view to subsequent re-design of each business unit. Naturally, there will be a need to provide consulting expertise and technical knowledge to address the organisational changes that have been driven by business growth, technology, risk mitigation, outsourcing, business optimisation or transformation. Consulting advice will include projects relating to Mergers, Acquisition and Divestment, long-term strategy development complemented by organisational structure design and realignment/integration of organisational entities.

The Person

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of experience working in organizational design, strategy development or management consulting disciplines in a global company or an international management consulting firm. He/she must have in-depth knowledge of planning and managing complex organizational transformation projects within the Oil and Gas Industry and supporting mergers and acquisitions transactions. The role will be based in Saudi Arabia and candidates with prior experience of working in Saudi Arabia will have an added advantage.
