It now seeks an experienced Public Relations Representative - Citizenship, a role focused toward strategy development and messaging, to support wide-ranging corporate CSR activities.

The Position

The appointed individual will be responsible for aligning the corporate-wide citizenship portfolio, overseeing the execution of the citizenship framework and improving the overall portfolio. You will be involved in strategic development of CSR plans such as development, evaluation and enhancement of current and future initiatives. Reporting to a Supervisor, you will research local and global sustainable best practices in regards to volunteerism activities and you will deliver annual CSR plans. There is a need to review and evaluate donation requests from NPO and charitable organisations globally and prepare assessment summaries thereof. You will develop short- and long-term goals including recommendations on domestic and international sponsorships/donations and analyse corporate donations as well.

The Person

This position requires a bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, MIS, Marketing or similar from a recognised and reputable institution. A Post-graduate qualification in Social Work or Advanced degree in Sustainability or CSR is preferred. You are expected to have 5+ years of experience in CSR and some experience in ESG and sustainability issues. As such, research and negotiation skills and ability to write agreements are essential for this position.
