The Company

Our client is a leading mining and metals corporation producing iron ore, copper, diamonds, gold and uranium which are essential to human progress. The company has grown through a long series of mergers and acquisitions to place itself among the world leaders in the production of many commodities. In line with their continued development, they are now looking to appoint several key individuals including a Senior UX Strategy & Design Manager to be based in Singapore. This position will be part of the Commercial Group which is focused on maximizing the value of their products; growing value in the marketplace through partnership with the company’s customers, suppliers, product groups and Group functions.

The Position

The Senior UX Designer will drive UX strategy and interaction design to create, engage and inspire. The appointed individual must have a strong understanding of design thinking, human-centered design, human computer interaction and are fluent in the latest technology trends. He/She must be design leader, innovative problem solver, self-starter and strong collaborator who excel in a fast-paced environment. Naturally, the Senior UX Designer will lead the design process and decision making for innovative digital products including planning, prioritizing, and scheduling. This includes translating user insights into concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, visual design comps and prototypes.

The Person 

Interested candidates should offer a Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar. A Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Digital UX Designer is required for this position. Working experience with Sketch, Adobe CS, and InVision is also essential. Most importantly, the candidate must have proven experience delivering concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc. Lastly, he/she should possess exceptional communication and presentation skills.
