As the organization accelerates its growth trajectory and manages an increasingly complex project portfolio, it is strengthening its executive leadership team with a seasoned professional to elevate construction project management excellence across the group.

The Position

The MD for Construction Project Management, will lead the full lifecycle delivery of major construction projects across the group. This role provides strategic and operational oversight of all project directors, managers, engineering teams, and support units, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s long-term objectives.

The MD will steer planning, budgeting, resource allocation, technical governance, contract management, and risk control frameworks while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and compliance. The role also carries responsibility for stakeholder engagement, including government authorities, contractors, and executive leadership. This position holds significant influence in shaping organizational direction through high-level project decisions and continuous improvement of project management standards.

The Person

The ideal candidate brings at least 15 years of progressive experience in construction project management, including 8+ years in senior leadership roles. They will have a strong foundation in civil engineering, construction management, or architecture, with deep technical knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, budgeting, and contract administration.

A proven track record managing large-scale commercial, residential, infrastructure, or industrial projects is essential, along with strong leadership capability, stakeholder management skills, and strategic decision-making experience. The role requires integrity, resilience, and the ability to navigate operational challenges while driving high-performance project delivery across diverse teams.
